The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) has officially published the highly anticipated 50th BCS Circular 2025. This is one of the most prestigious competitive examinations in Bangladesh, opening doors to top-tier government administrative, technical, and educational roles. For the 50th BCS, BPSC is calling for online applications to fill a massive total of 1,760 Cadre Vacancies and an additional 395 Non-Cadre Vacancies.

The 50th BCS will recruit talented individuals across various generalized and specialized fields. The total 1,760 cadre positions are divided into four main categories. Here is the detailed breakdown of the available posts to help you choose your cadre preferences wisely:
A massive update in the 50th BCS Circular is the direct inclusion of Non-Cadre vacancies. According to the "Non-Cadre Recruitment (Special) Rules 2023", candidates who successfully pass the written and viva exams but fail to secure a cadre post due to limited seats will be recommended for Non-Cadre positions based on their merit and chosen preferences.
A total of 395 Non-Cadre posts have been announced in this circular:
- 9th Grade Posts (71 Vacancies): Includes Assistant Directors in Housing & Public Works, Passport & Immigration, Export/Import, and Assistant Programmers/Maintenance Engineers in various ministries.
- 10th Grade Posts (42 Vacancies): Administrative Officers, Chief Inspectors, and Protocol Officers in the Cabinet Division and other ministries.
- 11th Grade Posts (278 Vacancies): Majorly consists of Auditors (263 posts) under the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) office, and Family Welfare Officers.
- 12th Grade Posts (4 Vacancies): Labor Officers and Assistant Research Officers.
Before applying for the 50th BCS Examination 2025, candidates must ensure they meet the strict eligibility parameters set by the Bangladesh Public Service Commission.
A. Age Limit (বয়সসীমা)
As of 01 November 2025, the candidate's age must be between 21 to 32 years. Age determination relies solely on the SSC/Equivalent certificate. Affidavits to prove age are strictly not acceptable.
B. Educational Qualifications (শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা)
- Must hold a Master’s Degree OR a 4-year Bachelor’s (Honors) degree from a recognized university.
- Candidates having more than one 3rd Division/Class or equivalent CGPA in their academic history are NOT eligible to apply.
- Appeared Candidates (অবতীর্ণ প্রার্থীর যোগ্যতা): If a candidate's final written examinations (Graduation/Post-Graduation) are completely finished by the application deadline (31 December 2025), they can apply as an "Appeared Candidate." However, if they fail any subject in that exam, their BCS candidature will be cancelled.
- Candidates applying for technical/professional cadres must possess relevant specific degrees (e.g., MBBS for Health Cadre, B.Sc in Engineering for PWD).
C. Physical Fitness Requirements (শারীরিক যোগ্যতা)

The application process for the 50th BCS is entirely online. Follow these detailed steps to submit your application and pay the fee:
- Visit the official Teletalk website: http://bpsc.teletalk.com.bd.
- Select the appropriate form based on your qualification: General Cadre, Technical/Professional Cadre, or Both Cadres.
- Fill out the three parts of the BPSC Form-1: Personal Information, Academic Qualification, and Cadre Option.
- Upload a recently taken color photograph (Dimensions: 300x300 pixels, Max size: 100 KB).
- Upload your scanned signature (Dimensions: 300x80 pixels, Max size: 60 KB).
- Submit the form and download the Applicant's Copy. Note down your unique User ID.
Application Fee Payment via SMS (টেলিটক এসএমএস এর মাধ্যমে ফি প্রদান)
The application fee has been heavily reduced for this BCS. The fee is Tk 200/- for general candidates and Tk 50/- for Physically Disabled, Ethnic Minorities, and Third Gender candidates. Payment must be made using a Teletalk Pre-paid SIM within 72 hours of form submission.

Once paid, you will receive a confirmation SMS with your User ID and Password, which will be required later to download your Admit Card.
The BCS selection process is rigorous and happens in three distinct phases: Preliminary Test (MCQ), Written Examination, and Viva Voce.
Phase 1: Preliminary Test (200 Marks | 2 Hours)
The preliminary test is a multiple-choice question (MCQ) exam. For every correct answer, you get 1 mark, and for every wrong answer, 0.50 marks are deducted. The probable date for the preliminary exam is 30 January 2026.

Phase 2: Written Examination (1000 Marks)
Candidates who clear the preliminary test will sit for the written exam. For General Cadres, the exam is of 900 marks. For Both/Technical Cadres, candidates must sit for a 100-mark Bangla exam and a 200-mark subject-specific exam relating to their technical degree, making it a 1000-mark assessment. The tentative date for written exams is 09 April 2026.
Phase 3: Viva Voce (100 Marks)
The final hurdle is the viva voce, tentatively scheduled to begin on 10 August 2026. Before the viva, candidates must fill out the BPSC Form-3 online. During the interview, candidates must bring their downloaded Applicant's Copy (BPSC Form-1), all original academic certificates, equivalence certificates (if applicable), NID, and a police verification form.
