The Office of the Commissioner of Taxes, Taxes Zone Kushtia, has published a new government recruitment circular to fill vacant positions from Grade 13 to Grade 20. This is a tremendous opportunity for job seekers looking to build a stable career under the Ministry of Finance.

A total of 122 vacancies have been announced across 6 different categories. Below is the detailed breakdown of the available posts and their respective salary grades.
- Computer Operator: Honors Degree in Science from a recognized university. Must pass the Standard Aptitude Test with a typing speed of 25 wpm in Bangla and 30 wpm in English.
- Principal Assistant & Higher Assistant: Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least a 2nd Class/CGPA. Must possess typing speeds of 30 wpm in English and 25 wpm in Bangla.
- Shorthand Typist cum Computer Operator: Bachelor's degree (2nd Class/CGPA). Shorthand speed must be 70 wpm (Eng) and 45 wpm (Ban). Typing speed must be 30 wpm (Eng) and 25 wpm (Ban).
- Office Assistant cum Computer Typist: HSC or equivalent pass with at least a 2nd Division/GPA. Typing speed of 20 wpm in both English and Bangla.
- Office Sohayak: Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or equivalent pass.

As of 07 May 2026, the candidate's age must be between 18 to 32 years. Affidavits (এফিডেভিট) are not acceptable for age verification.

- Fill out the Application Form. Government employees must select the "Departmental Candidate" option and provide an NOC during the viva exam.

Candidates will be evaluated through Written, Practical (if applicable), and Viva Voce examinations.
- Written Test: 90 Marks (Bengali, English, Math, and General Knowledge/Computer Knowledge). Duration: 90 minutes.
- Viva Voce: 10 Marks.
Candidates applying for posts 1 to 5 must pass a practical test after the written exam to qualify for the viva voce. Candidates must present all original documents (NID, Educational Certificates, District Residency Certificate) during the viva voce.
