🎓 Educational Qualifications & Eligibility Criteria (শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা)
Before applying, it is strictly advised to review the educational and professional requirements for the respective posts. The general age limit for all candidates is a maximum of 32 years as of 18/08/2026. However, for departmental candidates applying for posts numbered 2 to 7, the age limit is relaxed up to 34 years. Throughout their academic career, candidates must not have more than one Third Division/Class or equivalent CGPA. Basic computer operational skills are mandatory for the majority of these administrative and technical roles.
- For Technical Engineering Posts (Grade-9): Roles such as Assistant Maintenance Engineer and Assistant Programmer require a graduation (Honours) degree in Computer Science, CSE, EEE, or ICT from any recognized university with at least a second class or equivalent CGPA.
- For Assistant Director Roles (Grade-9): Candidates must hold a Master's degree in first class or a combination of Bachelor's (Honours) and Master's degrees in second class. Applications will only be accepted online. The online application form and examination fee submission will begin on 30 August 2026 at 09:00 AM and will strictly close on 26 September 2026 at 05:00 PM. Candidates who receive a User ID within the stipulated timeframe must submit the application fee via SMS within the next 72 hours.
Photo and Signature Requirements:
- Photograph: Color photo, 300x300 pixels, maximum file size 100 KB.
- Signature: 300x80 pixels, maximum file size 60 KB.
Application Fee Structure:
- For 9th Grade or above and 10th Grade posts: BDT 200 + BDT 23 (Teletalk Service Charge) = Total 223 Taka.
- For marginalized candidates (Ethnic minorities, Physically disabled, and Third gender): BDT 50 + BDT 6 (Service Charge) = Total 56 Taka.
SMS Payment Format:
After successfully submitting the online form, candidates will receive an Applicant's Copy containing a User ID. Send two SMS using a Teletalk Pre-paid mobile number as follows:
First SMS: Type BHTPA <space> User ID and send it to 16222.
Example: BHTPA ABCDEF
Second SMS: Type BHTPA <space> YES <space> PIN and send it to 16222.
Example: BHTPA YES XXXXXXXX
Once the payment is successful, you will receive a confirmation SMS containing your User ID and Password, which must be preserved safely for downloading the admit card later.
⚖️ Examination Scheme and Viva Voce Documents (পরীক্ষা পদ্ধতি ও প্রয়োজনীয় কাগজপত্র)
For posts listed from Serial 2 to 9, a total of 200 marks exam will be conducted. This comprises a 120-minute written exam of 170 marks (Bangla-45, English-45, Math/Technical-50, General Knowledge-30) and a Viva-voce of 30 marks.
For posts listed from Serial 11 to 14, a 110 marks exam will be held. This includes a 90-minute written exam of 100 marks (Bangla-30, English-30, Math/Technical-20, General Knowledge-20) and a Viva-voce of 10 marks.
The minimum pass mark for the written exam is strictly 50%. Only candidates who qualify in the written exams will be called for the Viva Voce. During the Viva Voce, candidates must bring the original copies and submit 2 sets of attested photocopies (attested by a 9th Grade or above gazetted officer) of the following documents:
- Color printed Applicant's Copy and Admit Card.
- All educational qualification certificates and experience certificates (where applicable).
- Citizenship Certificate issued by Union Parishad Chairman / Municipality Mayor / City Corporation Councilor / Cantonment Board Executive.
- Attested copy of National ID (NID) or Birth Registration Certificate.
- Quota supporting documents verified by the competent authority (if applying under a quota).
